Race the Harbor 20

Racing is said to be the best way to test your sailing skills.  The Harbor 20 is the most popular one design racing keelboat in Newport Harbor.  It also has the most prolific race schedule of any design.  Harbor 20’s’ also known as H-20 get their own start and trophies.

There are five different summer series to choose from:

• American Legion Yacht Club on Monday’s
• Bahia Corinthian Yacht Club on Tuesday’s
• South Shore Yacht Club on Wednesday’s
• Newport Harbor Yacht Club on Thursday’s
• Lido Island Yacht Club on Friday’s

There are 23 fleet races throughout the year and many other PHRF races sponsored by all the yacht clubs in Newport Harbor.  After each race there is a party and an awards ceremony at the sponsoring yacht club.  This is a great way to form a bond and have a laugh with other racers and their crew.

Summer Race Series

Cost: $150 per race day with full summer series paid in advance.
