Sailing Lessons on the Harbor 20
The Harbor 20 Sailing Club offers three ways to learn to sail. We offer beginner, intermediate and advanced lessons on the Harbor 20. We are affiliated with the American Sailing Association (ASA) and the Newport Beach Sailing School.
The American Sailing Association is the leading authority on sailing instruction and sailing schools in the United States. More than three-quarters of a million students have been certified through ASA. ASA certifications are recognized worldwide. With your ASA certification, you will be able to charter boats in sailing destinations a across the globe. [Note: ASA 101 is conducted on the H20. ASA 103 and 104 are conducted on coastal cruisers.]
The Harbor 20 Sailing Club provides excellent ASA Sailing instructors who are also highly qualified US Coast Guard License Captains. Our instructors are great sailors and racers, but more importantly, they really know how to teach. They know how to communicate in a way that makes learning enjoyable and fun. Our captains are patient and friendly, and you will come away with the competence and confidence to sail.
